Story Overview

When you have had everything taken from you, what is left but your revenge?

This classic turn based style RPG details the story behind Ericanskinsmonsters(Erica), and her party of outcast who seek to save the world as they know it from the brutality which monster races bring to the realm. This near impossible mission is already a death sentence without the scheming of an evil Necromancer whom appears to have other plans in motion.

Game Overview

This game incorporates a classic solo player turn based RPG style feel with some modern upgrades. As you travel throughout Strifestav you will explore the realm looking for treasure, weapon, armor, and spells to aid you in your vengeance. Combat may be challenging as it incorporates armor resistance, spell resist/immunities, stuns, ailments, and in some cases instant death mechanics. There are shops available in the 3 major towns which will allow you to rest, purchase weapons/armor/jewelry/spells and purchase food to buff your team in combat. The game also uses consumables which can be looted or bought in town and are vital to survival. Players advance through killing mobs for experience, collecting gold through monster/boss kills/chest/quest completion along the main storyline. This game is not made for young children and contains adult language/violence/alcohol use, to tell the story of Ericanskinsmonsters.

Classes

Once assembled, your four member party will consist of 5 unique classes to play but they can be customized by purchasing spells from the shops to cover what you may be lacking to aid you in your playstyle preference.

Flaymancer - Uses rogue-like attacks to deal massive dmg to target causing bleeding.(Also studied Golemancy and uses flesh to summon a formidable golem when in dire need)

Markswoman - Uses firearms and explosives to deal damage and inflict status effects on enemies

Knight-errant - Knight sworn to protect and will sacrifice himself to defend his allies. He uses heavy armor, shields, and has abilities which allow him to bolster defense/taunt/and stun

Bloodzerker - This character disregards safety and focuses on inflicting brutal damage as if his life depends on it. The Grimlock does massive damage and heals off the damage dealt. He also has very little magic and sacrifices his own life to increase his power & perform devastating blows. He is immune to light based effects including heals from his fellow members.

Sorceror - Highly magic based and uses healing/cleansing spells to restore the party. Is also the major spell damage user of the group so choose wisely when you prioritize your damage over your healing sustainment of your team.

Quest system

A quest system is implemented to keep the players targets of revenge in mind and highlights the main quest only. There are hidden quest, secret treasures, and clues for legendary weapons and armor scattered throughout Strifestav which would greatly aid you in journey if you choose to seek them out. These hidden events are not tracked on a quest log. Due to this loose guidance it gives the game a less linear feel, but ultimately specific things must be accomplished or killed to increase progression.
